In his talk, Dr Bowman will be addressing how Canada can avoid American corporate takeover, including how to take back our future from NAFTA, the North American Union, and from wars of aggression. He will also tell us how he would change America if he were elected President. This includes the closing Guantanamo Bay, withdrawing troops from the Middle East, and ending the drive for a permanent Military-Industrial Complex. Biography: Dr. Robert M. Bowman is President of the Institute for Space and Security Studies, Executive Vice President of Millennium III Corporation, recipient of the Eisenhower Medal, the George F. Kennan Peace Prize, the President's Medal of Veterans for Peace, the Republic Aviation Airpower Award, The Society of American Military Engineers' Gold Medal (twice), the Air Medal with five oak leaf clusters, and numerous other awards, he is one of the country's foremost authorities on national security. Until July, 1982, he was a Vice President of Space Communications Company. Before that, Dr. Bowman was Manager, Advanced Space Programs at General Dynamics, responsible for the communications spacecraft product line. Culminating a 22-year Air Force career in 1978, Col. Bowman was Director of Advanced Space Programs Development for the Air Force Space Division. In that capacity, he controlled about half a billion dollars worth of space programs, including the "Star Wars" programs, the existence of which was (at that time) secret. Dr. Bowman taught at five colleges and universities, serving as Associate Professor, Department Head, and Assistant Dean. From 1971 to 1974, Dr. Bowman was responsible for Air Force and NASA contracts in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Southern Asia. In 1969 and 1970, Col. Bowman flew 101 combat missions in Vietnam. His PhD is in Aeronautics and Nuclear Engineering from Caltech. Dr. Bowman has lectured at the National War College, the United Nations, Congressional Caucuses, the Academies of Science of six nations, and the House of Lords. He has appeared on McNeil-Lehrer, ABC News, the Larry King Show, Donohue, and Firing Line. He has hosted radio talk shows in New York, Rhode Island, and Florida. He beat Pat Buchanan in Iowa, Illinois, and California before dropping out of the race for lack of money and media coverage. Central to his campaign were (1) electoral reform (severing the connection between big money and political power), (2) international trade reform (gaining democratic control of the WTO), (3) health care reform ( a doctor-run single-payer national health system), (4) structural reform (ending the domination of society by transnational corporations and banks), (5) economic reform (allowing workers to keep more of the wealth they create), and (6) foreign relations reform (freeing the American people from the threat of nuclear terrorism by a return to a Constitutional foreign and military policy which refuses to go to war for the financial interests of the wealthy few). We are brought together because we share the view, along with a growing number of people throughout the world, that the 'official story' given by US, Canadian and other governments, the mainstream media and the '9/11 Commission Report' is simply implausible. Update - August 3rd, 2008: Stockwell Day lost Petition for a Canadian Investigation into 9/11 Vancouver BC - The Dishonourable Stockwell Day has let Canadians down again. On June 10th, 2008, the Honourable Libby Davies read a petition into Parliament that suggests that the 9/11 Commission report does not stand up to the facts, and that we need a Canadian investigation to justify our war efforts. Canada allows a Minister up to 45 days to respond to any given petition. June 11th plus 45 days equals July 25th. Mr. Day is already 9 days late. Below is my latest letter to Mr. Day re: the 9/11 petition. As of right now, it is the 5th letter I have sent to him, and the 5th letter that has been unanswered. I have always felt lucky to be Canadian since every time I email one of my MP’s, I always have received a reply. Always – except from Mr. Day. Below my letter to Mr. Day. I hope all other 9/11 Truth activists can write him a similar one. This petition was then forwarded to your office for review. We have been informed that the Ministry has days to respond to any such petition. The HANSARD record was made available June 11th, 2008. 45 days later July 26th came and went without an answer from your office. Mr. Day, why is it your office has yet to respond? This is a petition that demands truth, and now we demand an answer from your office. If we continue to be ignored, we will pursue with whatever legal action we can. Conspirituality to Participate in the March on Ottawa: As I was packing up and preparing to leave a day long event of celebrating Vancouver’s unique culture and anti-establishment attitude in late April 2008, I heard the term “Patriot Act”, and the name “Colin Powell” being blared out of the speakers from the other end of the park. Being the well trained political analyst and activist that I have become over the years, it has become impossible for me to hear the term “Patriot Act” and name “Colin Powell” both being mentioned at the same time without me feeling the need to interject. I started to push my way through the crowd to see what was happening on the stage. What I discovered was Conspirituality.
Gemineye, and Zaddik. Two of the most talented hip hop artists Canada has to offer, were on stage performing a song called “Ambushed.” The unique mix of modern Hip Hop, political lyrics, and loops of instruments with Middle Eastern origins seemed to be the tonic needed to rejuvenate a tired audience that had already spent several hours in the hot sun. The park began to repopulate, and its energy restored. Both Gemineye and Zaddik add their own unique elements to the duo. Gemineye is the political power, and Zaddik the spiritual enlightenment. Gemineye tells it how it is, and doesn’t let anyone off the hook. His lyrics are fast and packed with the truth that is intentionally hidden or distorted by today’s mainstream media - Truth that everyone needs to understand in order for us to move forward politically, and economically. I met with Gemineye a few weeks later at a coffee shop near Vancouver, and we had an intense 3 hour conversation that covered topics including 9/11, Watergate, US geopolitical strategy, the CIA, Tibet, Palestine, Zionism, Judaism, and Natural medicine. His mind is as quick as his lyrics – without a doubt the most intellectual musician I have ever spoken with. Zaddik is quieter off stage, but just as loud on stage. With his thoughts disclosed in his lyrics and his unique stage presence, Zaddik adds a level of spirituality you would not suspect to find in a hip hop duo. From Egyptology to Hinduism, Zaddik’s truth leaves nothing unexplored. Conspirituality’s first album is due out soon. They – as Canadian artists – will be doing their part in the 9/11 Truth movement by going to Ottawa for September 11th, and performing on Parliament Hill – bringing their message directly to the likes of Stephan Harper, Stockwell Day, and all the other criminals who work in the building on the Hill. (We know not all members of Parliament are criminals, but some indeed are) In order to get to Ottawa, they will be traveling across the country with members of the Vancouver 9/11 Truth Society, and other concerned Canadians in the “Truth Bus”. Along the way, they will be stopping to perform, and to help spread the word of 9/11 Truth in Kelowna BC, Nelson BC, Calgary AB, Edmonton AB, Regina SK, Winnipeg MN, Thunder Bay ON, Sault Ste Marie ON, and Montreal PQ.
